Getting started at National Vaults is simple, private, and efficient.

First, reserve online or schedule a private tour here. You may also call/text us to make an appointment. A member of our staff will coordinate your visit and guide you through the next steps.

When you arrive at the facility, you’ll bring a valid government-issued ID and proof of address. Proof of address can be a utility bill, government document, bank statement, or lease. During your appointment, you will be the only client in the facility, ensuring a completely private and secure experience.

The onboarding process takes approximately 20-30 minutes. During this time, your account is created, access credentials are issued, and your PIN and biometric data are securely registered and verified.

Once setup is complete, you can immediately begin using your private storage. All access to your valuables takes place in secure private viewing rooms, ensuring discretion, efficiency, and full control at every visit.

Availability & Access

Banks often have waitlists or limited availability. Safe deposit services are being phased out at most locations and access is typically limited to standard banking hours. 

National Vaults typically has no waitlist and immediate availability. We provide stable long-term service that is not being phased out. Access is available Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, with emergency after-hours access available. We also offer white-glove, appointment-based client service. 

Service Experience

Insurance & Protection

Bank safe deposit box contents are not FDIC insured and not covered by any other insurance program. 

National Vaults is a purpose-built secure storage facility with multi-layer physical and electronic security. Our facility is licensed, insured, and bonded. Every rental includes $5k insurance coverage through a dedicated provider specializing in secure storage facilities. Additional coverage is also available through our dedicated provider SDBIC (Safe Deposit Box Insurance Company).

1. Prohibited items:
   • Any property prohibited by local, state, or federal law.
   • Fireworks, ammunition, anything flammable, or toxic.
   • Food or perishable items.
   • Hazardous materials.
   • Stolen or otherwise illegal items.
   • K-9 dogs do spot checks on the vault area.

At National Vaults, security is our top priority. Access to private storage within our vaults is strictly limited to the following:

• Clients (Account Holders): Only the tenant named on the account may access their private storage.

• Authorized User: Each client may designate one authorized user to access their private storage. The client must add this user to the account in person at our facility. When adding an authorized user be sure to bring a valid government issued identification.

• Security Protocol: For each vault entry, only one client (or their designated authorized user) and one vault attendant are permitted inside the vault at a time to ensure maximum security.

• Access Requirements: Entry requires valid legal identification and a secure access code, with biometric verification optional. Your account must be verified before access is granted. This ensures only authorized individuals enter the vault, maintaining maximum security for your private storage.

Yes. Every safe and safe deposit box includes $5,000 complimentary insurance coverage, with the option to increase coverage up to $1,000,000 or more, depending on your needs.

No. You may access your box as often as needed during our operating hours.

One additional user other than the account holder may be added to each account. The additional user needs to be present to add them to the account. 

Accounts are non-transferable; however, you can cancel your account at any time. Please note that cancellations are final, and no refunds will be issued for the remaining term of your agreement.
